General area
Sumbawa is the 2nd island to the east of Bali and is easily accessible by plane for 50 to 100 dollars one way. From there it is a two hour Bemo drive to Lakeys. There is always a taxi driver as it seems to be quite a profittable business transporting surfers. Prepare for a scrum at the airport and to be ripped off. It isnt dangerous but can be hassly
The Surf
Lakeys is an ideal surf destinations for those who loves reefs as it has something for every one. The peak is a perfect a frame that breaks at 1 to 8 foot, pipe is a sucky left barrel, Nungas is a deep water long left and Periscopes is a great barreling right. There are also a few other slabs when the surf gets small to explore. All these waves are in walking distance to your accomadation and restaurants. There is no bars etc so it is surf eat surf eat drink and sleep.
Climate
Its warm so bring lots of sunblock and boardies, also a rashie is good to protect from sunburn
