The Giant's Foot Surf Camp is an intimate surf lodge on the beach in Gigante, Nicaragua. There are no tourists, a few ex-pats, a few locals, and a lot of cows and pigs. Otherwise it is just us and our guests hanging out. See photos and descriptions below. Giant's Foot Surf is located in 
Gigante, Nicaragua, a small rural fishing village on the southern Pacific coast. A stay with us takes you just off the beaten path of established surf tourism towns like San Juan Del Sur and at the same time brings you closer to all the great breaks that southern Nicaragua has to offer.
We house ourselves, and our guests in two adjacent beachfront lodges with personalities all their own. The guest house has six rooms, a large living room, small public bathroom, and kitchen / bar area. All rooms are double occupancy with full beds. Two of our rooms have 2 queen sized beds that are bunked to accommodate couples and giants. At full capacity we are able to accommodate twelve guests. Every room is equipped with air conditioning, a fan, and a private bathroom.
We have a full service bar on site, as well as a ping pong table, fire pit, and hammocks galore in which to relax and take in a gorgeous sunset after a hard day of surfing. We also have a library 
of movies, books, and board games available. People spend a lot of time on the beach and around the fire just hanging out. We play a lot of poker, and games in general. Gigante is pretty quiet. There is Keith and Maria's bar with a big screen TV a short five minute walk away and at certain times of the year there are a few bars open that consist of a stand, a branch and palm frond shade structure known as a rancho (or palapa) maybe some corrugated metal siding to keep the pigs out, a few plastic tables and chairs, a juke box, and a cold beer. Otherwise there are no shops to buy things at. Its just a small sleepy village, that wakes up to party once in a while.

Transportation
Round trip transportation from the Managua International airport to Gigante, Nicaragua in an air conditioned vehicle (land cruiser, or tour bus). Gigante is located on the coast of the Rivas provence between San Juan Del Sur and Popoyo. The nearest city is Rivas (45 min.).
Accommodations
6 nights & 7 days accommodations (double occupancy with A/C) located on the beach in Bahia Gigante (Gigante Bay).
Waves
Total surf transportation by sea & land. 3 sessions daily conditions permitting. Distances range from 5 minutes to one hour depending on the wave being surfed (average 10-20min). We run two pangas, a 31 foot (8 passengers) and a 25 foot (4 passengers), both with Canopy, 115hp Suzuki 4 stroke, and all necessary equipment. Our vehicles are a toyota long bed pickup and a Toyota land cruiser (5 passengers).
Meals & Drinks
Three well balanced meals are served daily camp style. Soda pop, beer, and Rum drinks are included. We try to combine local culinary traditions in with more typical american cuisine. We also buy fresh fish depending on the season from the local fishermen who bring in their catch daily. To give you a general idea below is a sampling of past meals served.
Breakfasts: french toast with bacon, eggs benedict, chorizo & eggs with guyo pinto, crepes with fruit, yogurt & honey; all served with fresh fruit, coffee, & juice.
Lunches: curried chicken salad sandwiches, quesadillas with fixings, cold vegetable pasta salad, tomato, mozzarella, & basil paninis, sausages with carmelized onions & red peppers; all served with chips, fruit, & juice.
Dinners: peanut pasta with a bistro carrot salad, battered fish tacos with mango salsa and fixings, irish beef stew with green beans & mashed potatoes, thai tuna burgers with homemade seasoned fries, baked lasagne with garlic bread; all served with organic locally grown mixed green salad.
* We also eat one dinner per week at a local restauraunt, and one dinner at the Pie de Gigante restauraunt where our guest are always welcome an able to put purchases on their camp tab.
