Travel tips
Below are just a few random tips that we will add to but send in your own to traveltips@surfbreaks.ie
-although autumn is the best time to go september can be crowded so October or Spring can be a more pleasnt time.
-the french arround SW france tend to be more tolerant of crap french so dont be afraid to try.
-the banks change consisently so a bit of checking up and down the coast can pay off
-the banks are really tidal so keep checking. High tide is often best
-there is a lot of blowins so dont be intimadated by people in the water, you will recogise the locals as most surf well
-the restaurants are amazing and while not cheap are good value considering the quality and really add to the experience
- A trip to North spain is well worth it espicially if the swell is huge.
- Most of the sandbars are not for beginners but are great for fine tuning the skills of intermediate/advanced surfers.
- Great place for pulling in however oftyen the sand feels as hard as rock.
